For purchases made online at LECHATEAU.COM, we will gladly accept returns of merchandise in its original condition for a full refund within 15 days of receipt. Merchandise must be returned by mail, with all tags affixed and in its original packaging. We will apply a credit to your original form of payment – less shipping and handling charges. The credit will appear on your credit card statement 3 to 10 business days following the reception of merchandise at our warehouse.

Please note all purchases of Sale and Outlet items, as well as Gift Cards, jewelry and intimate apparel are final. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.

How to return your online purchase

Currently, online purchases can only be returned by mail, and cannot be returned to a LE CHÂTEAU retail location. In the case you wish to exchange your purchase, we suggest you first return the items by mail, and then place a new order.

To return an item(s), follow these simple instructions:

  1. Contact Customer Service by email or telephone at 1-877-514-1959 to get a return approval number.
  2. NOTE: Returns without an approval number will not be accepted.

  3. Pack the item securely in the original package.
  4. Enclose a copy of the documentation that accompanied your order with your return approval number and reason indicated.
  5. All products must be returned in original condition, and with all paperwork and accessories to ensure full credit.
  6. All return shipping charges must be prepaid. We will not accept C.O.D. deliveries. Packages should be shipped through a traceable method. Shipping insurance is recommended.
